Apply to Join Street L.A.

Street L.A. has two seasons, January – June and July – December, though a person can apply and/or join the collective at any time. The fee is $300 for each season. 

 

TO APPLY:

 

Please provide this written information:

 

One to two sentences confirming that you understand the law and ethics of street photography. You should be able to state that none of your images have been manipulated in any way nor did your presence affect the photograph. 

 

Also, tell us why you would like to be a member of Street L.A. and what you hope to accomplish.

Please send 10-20 images at 2000 on the long slide. Send them via WeTransfer to juliadeanLA@gmail.com. 

 

The members of the Collective will review your work and Julia or Dan will get back to you.

 

RULES:

 

You cannot belong to another Los Angeles based street collective at the same time that you are affiliated with the Street L.A. Collective.

 

Only active members of Street L.A. can show their photographs in Street L.A. exhibits and books.

 

All photographs submitted must be authentic, and follow all the laws, rules and ethics set in the field of photojournalism.
